After
I got out of graduate school I learned a valuable lesson - when it comes
to art you have to follow your interests. In graduate school I was always
painting to please my instructors. The results were, predictably, less than
satisfying. When I decided to work with the astronomical sources that had
always fascinated me, something clicked. These paintings were the result.
